SoLa Students will have the opportunity to explore the world of business. In this class, students will understand the process of starting their own business. They will go from Ideation to Execution. Together we will create a mock business plan and create a business with a social give-back. Students will present their pitch deck at the end of the semester in a “Shark Tank” competition. The goal is to equip all our students with the skill sets needed to have a source of income for themselves. Students should come prepared with existing business ideas.

Los estudiantes de SoLa tendrán la oportunidad de explorar el mundo de los negocios. En esta clase, los estudiantes comprenderán el proceso de iniciar su propio negocio. Pasarán de la Ideación a la Ejecución. Juntos crearemos un plan de negocios simulado y crearemos un negocio con contribución social. Los estudiantes presentarán su presentación al final del semestre en una competencia “Shark Tank”. El objetivo es equipar a todos nuestros estudiantes con las habilidades necesarias para tener una fuente de ingresos para ellos mismos. Los estudiantes deben venir preparados con ideas de negocios existentes.
